Shortlisted in the Rising Chief Executive category at the Third Sector Awards
We’re delighted to share that our CEO, Dr Helena Dunbar, has been shortlisted in the Rising Chief Executive category at the Third Sector Awards, one of the charity sector’s most prestigious and respected awards. The category recognises emerging leaders who are making a transformative impact across the sector.
As a new charity now in its second year, this recognition is a significant milestone and reflects the impact Kentown Support is already making alongside its partners.
Reflecting on the news, Dr Helena Dunbar said:
'Being shortlisted for this award means so much. I'm incredibly proud to lead a charity that is bringing partners together with one shared purpose, ensuring families of seriously ill children have genuine choice about where their child receives end of life care, including home if that is what they want. Reaching into communities with the highest need should be achievable and building sustainable models of support through true collaboration should be the norm.
This recognition goes to everyone in my team and all our partner teams working hard to support families of seriously ill children. My role as Chief Executive of such a wonderful organisation is built on a passion to bring people and services together without barriers, to create a stronger network for families going through the most difficult time.'
