Looking for help?

Kentown Support doesn't work directly with parents and caregivers, but please know that we are there behind the scenes, helping to improve the provision of paediatric palliative care across the UK to support families like yours.

Our friends at Together For Short Lives have kindly shared some of their resources to help connect you to the help and support you need.

Hub

If you care for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition Together for Short Lives are here to help. Whether you need practical, emotional or financial support, or simple, clear information you can trust, their Family Support Hub is the place to start. You can contact them on 0808 8080 100, by emailing helpline@togetherforshortlives.org.uk or visiting the website.

Directory

There are lots of services that can provide different types of support for you and your family. Your care team should be able to signpost and support you to access them, but you can also see what’s available in your local area by using Together for Short Lives’ directory.

If you have any questions you can also speak to a member of their family support team on 0808 8080 100 or by emailing helpline@togetherforshortlives.org.uk.

If your family has benefited from the Lancashire and South Cumbria programme, or from the upcoming Greater Manchester programme, and you’d like to share your experience with us, please contact us at: programmes@kentownsupport.org.uk
