2027 Research Symposium
Building Children's Palliative Care: Evidence and Impact
Thursday 15th April 2027 | 10.30 - 15.30
The Cicely Saunders Institute

Overview
Join Kentown Support and The Cicely Saunders Institute at King’s College London for a day of research, shared learning and discussion focused on children’s palliative care.
A one-day research symposium exploring how research is making a difference to children's palliative care. The day brings together professionals, academics, and families to share learning and consider how research can improve palliative care and support for children and their families.
Funded by Kentown Support and led by Professor Lorna Fraser, the Centre of Excellence for Paediatric Palliative Care, based at The Cicely Saunders Institute, will build the evidence, knowledge and skills needed to improve care for children with life-threatening and life-shortening conditions and their families.
By strengthening research capacity and turning evidence into practice, the Centre will help shape policy, inform services, and drive innovation in paediatric palliative care.
